Pink slime and ALEC

I was encouraged by what happened with pink slime. I saw it as a real-life metaphor for people finally getting fed up with the crap that's been shoved down our throats for these last many years, getting active, and getting the job done. The rapid response by all of us and the result of getting rid of it, or at least getting some honest labelling, is great news. Now that Kraft, Coke, and Pepsi have deserted ALEC, the word is out about what ALEC and the NRA are up to. It's crap, and we've made it clear we aren't going to put up with it.
