Duck stabbed at Frostburg city duck park
FROSTBURG, Md. (AP) - Authorities in Frostburg say they hope to quickly find the person who fatally stabbed a city park duck.
The Cabela's folding knife has a 3-inch blade etched with the logo of the National Wilde Turkey Federation. http://www.wjla.com/articles/2012/04/duck-stabbed-at-frostburg-city-duck-park-74650.html

9. If he was the Gingerbread man or a delivery guy for Wonder Bread, maybe.

But other than that, I ain't buying it. By god, all you need to 'hunt' them is a piece of bread and pair of pliers and a sack to put them in.
Sadly, there are some real jerkwads here in Florida that revel in killing harmless ducks (and turtles and what-have-you). It's clearly like that all over, though. |

10. I don't get the lame attempts at jokes

at the malicious and senseless killing of a beautiful animal. Frankly, I'm surprised and disappointed. I just don't see anything humorous here, only sadness at a waste of life.
Ducks and other birds are wonderful, beautiful animals and they want to live as much as the rest of us. I hope the authorities find the asshole and throw the book at him or her. |

I'm as much an animal lover as anyone, but I can still see the humor in some of the replies. The poor duck is already dead.
