The products in our store are part of a fundraiser for the We Are Woman Constitution Day Rally in Washington, D.C., September 13th, 2014. The rally is focused on voter rights and the Equal Rights Amendment. A portion of each purchase goes directly to help fund the rally.

I'm taking time off work, and scrambling to fund, a much shorter trip so that I can see my son get married this fall. There's no budget and no time off work left to travel that far. If there is a local version, though, I'll be there.

What Is We Are Woman?

We Are Woman is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the causes of women's equality, ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment, and voting rights and access for all citizens.

We have applied for 501(c)(3) status, but have not yet received our official nonprofit designation. We hope it will be soon!

First I have to check our blackout times for vacation at work. Flying would really be the only option for me to do it in one day. There are some inexpensive rates out there. I checked bus and train, even on the acela it is almost 6 hours one way and I can't afford much time away from work.
