The other is spiritual time/space continuim. God reads into the future. He sees prayers which are to occur (future tense), and if so honored by that, can help apply it (the supplication retroactively) to any situation, even one which has already occurred in the past. is that it would be using the Mormon "priesthood" concept as qualifying one for a clergy exemption from the draft. Most Mormons don't do this, they proudly serve in the military, but it does make Mitt look kind of chickenhawk if he did indeed use such an exemption to avoid going to Vietnam.

I, for one, don't like that avenue of attack. I sure as hell didn't want to go to Vietnam to die for nothing, and I don't blame anyone else for feeling that way, either.
