Mitt "Subs for Votes" Romney - Dems File Complaint in WisconsinLast edited Tue Apr 3, 2012, 09:20 PM USA/ET - Edit history (3)
I'm sorry, but to me, this is just silly. It may, however, be a violation of federal election law. Either way, LOL.
Note the sign behind them: "Cousins Subs". http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/04/03/11005624-dems-file-complaint-over-romney-handing-out-free-subs
Wisconsin law, the state Democratic Party says, prohibits a campaign by offering anything over $1 in value to voters to get them to the polls or to refrain from voting.Yet after handing out subs with House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, Romney says: "I want to thank you for voting. Get your friends to go vote; get some friends to go with you. That's how you can legally vote multiple times. So bring your friends out to the polling place, get out and vote. And if you want another sandwich, there are more back there." The Romney campaign responded with this statement from spokesman Rick Gorka: "President Obama and his allies keep wading in to the Republican primary, whether voting for Mitt Romney's opponents or absurdly claiming we can't provide refreshments for volunteers. If President Obama focused half his time worrying about the economy as he does obsessing over Mitt Romney, Americans would be a lot better off." ![]()

1. The law's the law
|
And a willingness to bribe voters and suggest voting "multiple times" is not what I want in a leader.

3. I would have approached it slightly differently
|
"We, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, applaud Governor Romney's kind gesture in providing free sandwiches to voters. We also recommend that everyone go in and get one, as it's the last time Mitt Romney plans to provide anything but misery and deprivation to Wisconsin's working class."

8. I can remember when I lived in Wisconsin, how the conservanazis would whine when ACORN would offer a
|
ride to the polls. Or anything at all. Just simple help filling out a ballot.
F*ck the conservanazi bastards. |

Andrew Breibart would be coming out of the grave to have non-stop exclusive exposés on Faux. We laugh about it but the Republicans wouldn't.
