The officer shows his badge. Zimmerman replies "I don't care who you are. FUCK YOU." Zimmerman is arrested, and according to Michael Issiokoff (on "Hardball" right now) a LAW CLERK reduced the charges from a FELONY to a MISDEMEANOR (Daddy has "connections," don't you know).

Just wondering, since it's been strongly suggested recently that bringing up a person's past is muck-raking, dragging someone's name through the mud, etc.

Having said that, I'd say that this old incident, old though it is, means something. He may have been drunk, but it's not just anyone who'd say that to a policeman.
