"The officer flashed his badge. Zimmerman shot back 'I don't care who you are. FUCK YOU.'"

Zimmerman, age 21 (he's 28 now), was interfering in an officer enforcing underaged liquor sales. One of the underaged people was a friend of Zimmerman. He was told to back off. The officer shows his badge. Zimmerman replies "I don't care who you are. FUCK YOU." Zimmerman is arrested, and according to Michael Issiokoff (on "Hardball" right now) a LAW CLERK reduced the charges from a FELONY to a MISDEMEANOR (Daddy has "connections," don't you know).

If you're not watching Hardball, make sure to eatch the replay in 2 hours.

When Issikoff quoted the "fuck you" bit, he said "It's in the police reports. You can read it for yourself."

Daddy a magistrate judge. This little racist sociopath has had his Daddy and Mommy and their connections protecting him from his own angry, violent behavior all his life.

This is George W. Bush all over again. One incident after another swept under the rug because of having the right parents.

With daddy judge, one can't help but wonder how often the POS was enabled to do as he pleased?

Probably got it from his father, who has bailed his spoiled son out of jams for the last 8 years or so.

I'll bet Zimmerman has a history of escalating violent behavior. I'll bet he's a real charmer to live with. POS really needs to be arrested now.

In Zimmerman's 2008 application to the Citizen's Police Academy, Zimmerman has a different perspective (assuming the online copy is valid):

Zimmerman: "He never told me he was an officer and assaulted me first."

Just like the Anthonys, the Zimmermans seem incapable of telling the truth. Nothing is ever their fault; its always someone else, no matter how bizarre the explanation. No accountability whatsoever, from the parents on down. I guess that's why kids from both families turn out to be psychopaths.

that this guy is just the last person on earth who should be allowed to swagger around in the open, packin' heat. He's the last man on earth who should be entitled to own a gun! Dear God, I'm surprised he hasn't killed several other innocent people already.

Just wondering, since it's been strongly suggested recently that bringing up a person's past is muck-raking, dragging someone's name through the mud, etc.

Having said that, I'd say that this old incident, old though it is, means something. He may have been drunk, but it's not just anyone who'd say that to a policeman.
