Why was Clayton Osborn arrested but George Zimmerman wasn't?

Clayton Osborn is the Jet Blue pilot who had some sort of mental breakdown the other day:

The jetBlue pilot who flipped out at 35,000 feet was suffering from some kind of religious mania, according to an FBI affidavit released Wednesday.

“Osbon started trying to correlate completely unrelated numbers like radio frequencies,” the FBI said.

A sudden fixation on numbers and patterns is a common sympton of schizophrenia.

Osbon, who was hospitalized, was formally charged Wednesday with interfering with a flight crew.

A pilot who by all accounts seems to have been a nice guy apparently has a severe mental health crisis and he gets arrested. A habitual troublemaker shoots down a kid and he walks.

2. He looks pretty old to be having his first psychotic break.

IIRC, it can happen at any age, but 18-30 is the usual range.

3. Osborn didn't have cops to cover for him.

That said, I have the sneaking suspicion we're going to find out in Osborn's case that he was on something, either legal or illegal.

4. To say nothing of the Occupiers who were exercising First Amendment

rights and taking the First Amendment just as literally as the Supreme Court took it in Citizens United.

Two standards of justice depending . . . .
