1. I miss them, too.

The snowmen were my favorite.

2. LOVE IT LOVEIT LoveIt loveitloveit... did I mention I love it? I have always kept the Snowmen on my

desktop somewhere, for when I needed a laugh.
Then, during some change of hardware, I lost it, and forgot about it.

This is one of my best presents this Christmas, and I thank you for it.

6. It's a shame that the only reminders of that excellent strip

are those godawful "Calvin peeing" decals that some morans put in the rear windows of their pick um ups.

Watterson once claimed he had nothing to do with those frickin things, that somebody stole the Calvin image and created the decals. I believe him because most of the dipshits that have those things in their car don't have the foggiest notion of who the hell Calvin and Hobbes are.

Possibly even worse are the "Calvin praying" pictures.

8. I wish that somebody would

present a major retrospective and give C&H some recognition. I believe a lot of people today would love it if they knew more about it.

I don't know what Watterson would think. In lieu of new strips, this would be the next best thing.
