Chris Hayes is asking real questions about Eastern Ukraine

after that update from Shapiro.

I can't wait for the day when Western police refuse to open fire on protesters in our own countries.

Damn!! Why was Brennan meeting with the interim government?
Is Kiev a puppet of the West - that Chris Hayes asking not me.

The shit has hit the fan.

that American police wouldn't shoot protesters. There's too much evidence that suggests otherwise.

What I love most about DU is that we don't have to agree on everything. I never miss your posts.

I'm really well - back to walking 12K a week.

Russian agents disguised as Ukrainians are fighting US agents, wait for it, disguised as Ukrainians.

offered them food and good conversation and they handed over the tanks and raised Russian flags on them.

I'm thinking of Monty Python and can't fathom why

But though even words like “juju-flop,” “swut,” and “turlingdrome” are now perfectly acceptable in common usage, there is one word that is still beyond the pale. The concept it embodies is so revolting that the publication or broadcast of the word is utterly forbidden in all parts of the galaxy except one - where they don’t know what it means. That word is “Belgium” "Ukraine".

I was just thinking how absolutely absurd the reality of what's happening in Ukraine was today - you couldn't make up what went down today.

Still I'm glad to see people not willing to kill one another.

Both countries have the real nukes. Truth is that when the dust settles we'll have a better balance of power on planet earth.

Bush did real damage to America's image and the NSA was the last straw for many across the globe. Sadly the USA no longer has the moral high ground on planet earth - no one does - all the emperors are naked.

I'm seeing The Fear being edited out of popular history. It's a bizarre dynamic:

The Right wants to downplay The Fear because it interferes with their Brinkmanship.

The Left wants to downplay The Fear because memories of The Red Scare still haunts.

Example: How many people, except history buffs, have even heard of the Baruch Plan?

after what Bushco did to Kofi I wrote them off - but they are powerless given the power of others.

History buffs and some academics study all the plans.
