Always Low-morals Wal-Mart helped kill Trayvon Martin.

According to Thom Hartmann, Wal-Mart used it's position in the extreme right-wing lobbying group ALEC to get this "stand-your-ground" law passed. See, Wal-Mart is the biggest seller of guns in America. But they don't want the liability that comes from selling guns to someone who might use a gun to kill an innocent man.

With this cold-blooded murder allowed by Wal-Mart's "stand-your-ground" law, they are accessories. They were standing with Zimmerman as he pulled the trigger. I encourage people to continue to boycott this immoral corporation that continues to harm Americans in every way possible. Tell them to get out of our government.

to know what the facts are behind whether Walmart lobbied for syg laws.

If they did do so, I sincerely doubt they did it in the name of increasing freedom or protecting the rights of US citizens. Which would leave the question of why.

If they didn't, then the whole thing is false, and it was really silly of Hartman to say it.

It's false and disingenuous to hold Wal-Mart accountable and/or liable for wrongful deaths attributable to
misinterpretations or abuse of SYG laws.

It's false and disingenuous to suggest that Wal-Mart stood to make any profit from supporting SYG laws.

If Wal-Mart did indeed lobby for and support SYG legislation (all we have to go on is the reporting of one
biased blogger), then bravo for them.

At least they've demonstrated that they can be of some useful function sometimes.
