I haven't read this anywhere else and it would seem odd that a Chicago station would break it. Not to mention, it would be a HUGE development, and they don't have it anywhere on the front page of their site. Usually stations brag pretty heavily if they are able to break a huge development like that.

The reader said that the call was made by Martin, shortly before his death. That's not a mistake in reading. It might be an error in writing, or reporting. But it also mentions trying to extract ZIMMERMAN'S words through audio enhancement. Now, that could be his mumbling, or it could be that Martin never said anything, but they've figured out that he CALLED.

Zimmerman, which would add credibility to the report.

But it's so cloudy down there in Sanford when it comes to facts of the encounter between those two that day.

BOTTOM LINE: Zimmerman had no authority to approach nor engage Martin in ANY thing. Case closed, in my book. Lock the guy up and let the jury agree with me in the end after a fair trial.

My only solid prediction:
This is turning into another OJ type trial, which we will be following for 2 more years.

19. You're misreading the statement

A police officer has the authority to stop you, ask you to identify yourself, etc. A self appointed wanna-be-cop does not. Mr. Martin owed the wannabe no explanation as to who he was and what he was doing there. He could have just told him to fuck off....I wouldn't recommend telling a police officer that.

20. There is an article saying there were a total of 8 911 calls during the attack.

So there are several we dont know about yet. It is quite possible that trayvon called 911.
