The leaders of North Korea are planning to fire a long-range rocket, in violation of its treaty obligations.
Instead of saber-rattling, this President took a more direct approach: he's threatening to cut off 240,000 metric tons of food aid to the Korean people, who are already lacking enough food. Starving even more North Koreans is a sensible and practical way to get North Korea's totalitarian despot dictatorship to change their ways.
Makes perfect sense.
Sincerely yours,

Applaud them?
Sit in a corner going "boo-hoo, those North Koreans are meanies?
Or would you attempt to get them to listen, to try and have China help you and put what little economic and political pressure you have available in the hopes that, despite appearances, one or more of the NK rulers has some shred of sanity.
Come on, give us the benefit of your vast knowledge of politics and diplomacy and your almost divine wisdom.
