Your vote is needed in the Texas Democratic primary tomorrow as a bonafide LaRouchite cultist, who is calling for the impeachment and execution of President Obama and the colonization of Mars, and has campaigned with an image of President Obama portrayed with a Hitler moustache, is LEADING in polls in a 5 candidate race with 35%, and, with right wing crossover votes, is threatening to make the run-off and be an embarrassment to viable Texas Democratic candidates in the general election.

Despite being dis-avowed by the Texas Democratic Party, Kesha Rogers has twice before managed to win the Democratic nomination for District 22 House of Representatives (Tom Delay's old seat) in 2010 and 2012.

The remaining 65% of the vote is split among 4 candidates. David Alameel, who has been endorsed by Wendy Davis and others, has 27% support, the remaining 3 candidates splitting remaining 38% (with none having more than 15%).

Rogers only endorsement listed in the Wikipedia article on the 2014 Texas race is an "organization" by the name of "Doctors Against Murderous Obamacare", which appears to consist of at least one LaRouchite Pennsylvania physician, Mark Shelley, MD.

This year, perennial candidate Kesha Rogers is running for US Senate in the Democratic primary. A recent UT/Texas Tribune poll found her leading the pack among Democratic senate candidates, probably because she has been on a ballot the most times. (Although it is important to note that the majority of surveying for this poll took place before the best-financed candidate, David Alameel, began running ads and sending mailers.)

It is important for Texas Democrats not to be fooled--Kesha Rogers is absolutely the wrong candidate to be the Senate nominee. Though she calls herself a Democrat, she associates herself with Lyndon LaRouche, whose LaRouche movement has compared President Obama to Hitler and has a history of violent, anti-Semitic rhetoric.

Rogers has also repeatedly called for President Obama to be impeached. In 2012, when she was running in CD-22, Burnt Orange Report also revealed that Kesha Rogers produced a campaign video that called for the President's execution. . . . .

We’ve pointed out before why Ted Cruz doesn’t deserve your vote or political support. However, there’s someone else running for office - as a Democrat - who could make it onto the ballot...and makes Cruz look like a stand up citizen in comparison.

Her name is Kesha Rogers and she thinks Obama starting a thermonuclear war is a legitimate concern. So she wants to execute him.

Running for the U.S. Senate as a “LaRouche Democrat” Rogers has already been rejected by the Democratic Party. The State Democratic Executive Committee’s released its official party position on Rogers’ candidacy. “The Texas Democratic Party will have no relationship with the campaign of any person identifying him or herself as aligned with the LaRouche Movement or Lyndon LaRouche…”

...Kesha Rogers also produced a highly offensive video in which she, again, refers to the President as Hitler and cheerfully calls for his doctor to “administer some pentathol of sodium”. Sodium thiopental was commonly used during lethal injections in U.S. executions until 2010.
