Angry Protesters Condemn US Drone Attacks in Pakistan
TEHRAN (FNA)- People in Pakistan's Northern town of Batkhela staged a rally to express their anger at the US meddling in their country's domestic affairs and condemn the US-led NATO air raids on Pakistani soil.
The demonstration, organized by Pakistan's largest politico-religious party, Jamat-e-Islami, was staged against the US violation of the country's sovereignty.
The protesters demanded that the US be held responsible for the escalation of security situation in Pakistan and the killing of innocent people in the country, urging Islamabad to sever relations with Washington.
They also called for the withdrawal of the US-led forces from the neighboring Afghanistan.
