I was making an observation, not a judgment.

Unless you're joking, in which case, I'll say, "Not unless her best board bud is named, "Arizona Tea," because we all know how threatening Skittles and teas are to some people.

Edited to say that I would have added a smilie face, but I just can't smile about the Trayvon tragedy. But I was joking.

41. Ah! I see.

Me loves the Rev.

BTW, since you're a cat woman, I hope you can answer this: I have a new ragdoll Persian that I rescued (I have rescued dogs - this is my first indoor cat ever) and his fur is EVERYWHERE. We've apparently gotten the right cat food since I find hairballs everywhere and now know when he meows VERY loud that he's getting ready to puke one up, so I sit him on newspaper. But, my question is: what kind of brush should I get him? I've had him all winter and I suspect he's shedding now that it's Spring, which is why it's gotten worse. I have a little rubber brush my mother-in-law gave me, which is good for getting the fur off the furniture, but not off him.

Your Catwoman experience is needed. This I can smile about:

It's astounding, time is fleeting... Madness takes its toll. But listen closely, not for very much longer...

I've got to keep control.

LOL!!!

My Casper is long, long haired. I have a wire brush for my dogs (a big 'un since I have a cocker and a golden retriever), but that brush doesn't work. I was thinking I needed one more like you'd have for a horse mane, but with smaller wire bristles. Sorry, I'm cat dumb, but I'm "Rocky Horror" smart!!

I spent much of my youth in England (me mum was a Brit) - I was at my grandmother's on Nov 5 and she shouted GUY BLOODY FAWKES IS AT THE DOOR FOR YOU. LOL it was a friend in Guy Fawkes dress and mask - were were going out to celebrate the festivities. It still cracks me up thinking about it 40 years later. LOL.

9. I know many guys of all ages.

There are many guys but very few men. Being adult does not make a guy a man - it never has and it never will. Take a look around and see for yourself that the world is full of irresponsible and childish 'men'.

One cannot begin to be a man before accepting his own insignificance to all others in this world - that's a small step that most cannot take.

47. thank you -

your understanding speaks volumes.

most do not realize how far into their doings one can see, so they keep doing more of the same.

one can choose to hold valid and blameless the attitudes and feelings of others.

one may believe their own self to be good, at least good enough.

one can choose to judge others, except the right to judge applies only for ones own thoughts or actions.

the world can be a better place - you made it better for me today.

6. He is probably hiding out in rural Florida

We once took the "scenic" route from Orlando through central Florida to south Florida. We stopped at a couple of places where I didn't want to get out of the car, even for a bathroom break. It scared me that much. I told my husband to keep driving until we got to someplace nearer to civilization. I am a white woman. Looking at those WHITE MEN scared the hell out of me and not wanting to open my mouth and let them hear my Yankee accent. Remember the movie Deliverance? I was expecting to hear the banjos.

Most people across the country have no idea what certain parts of Florida is like.

14. It was Polk County

Hatred? No, FEAR. I will NEVER go there ever again, as a Yankee. I happen to know what many Southerners think of Yankees. You can probably say there is a correlation in this to blacks and whites, and what black parents tell their young sons. My point was that it isn't just a racial issue. It exists even between same races based on North and South. I would rather stay away from places where I know I am not wanted. My gun loving husband even said he wished he had kept his gun in his car. Great? Huh? Better to just stay away.

I've driven through rural Florida as well. As well as all over Appalachia. I have never felt the least bit scared. Once I even got lost in a not-so-nice part of the Bronx and stopped into a cafe. The people there were a little surprised to see me, but they were plenty nice.

Deliverance is a movie and a stereotype. It's not real. I'll bet that the locals in rural Florida would be glad to have you there.

I didn't feel as uncomfortable in the South Bronx, as I did in some places in the Adirondacks. My young daughter worked as a teacher in the South Bronx. She too NEVER had an unpleasant experiences where she worked, even working late into the night and taking the subway home.

Would be to lawyer up. He's probably already done so and isn't talking on the advice of his attorney.

I guess it would be nice if people accused of wrongdoing would say exactly what happened to the press. But that's not a wise move if you might be facing trial.

11. Fess up and betray America? Are you nuts?

He's gotten away clean, so far. We don't do "confessions" in America, we extract them by any means necessary. Whether it's waterboarding someone 180 times like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, sending in an execution squad like Osama bin Laden, or just firing off the random missile like Anwar al-Awlaki, we kill the very, very bad people and ask questions later, if ever. Preferably never.

Zimmerman did all the requisite preliminaries and the very, very bad person got killed. Now you want to open up a whole can of worms by questioning whether the deceased was very, very bad? Do you understand the implications of your irresponsible questions?

20. To me a real man doesn't have to carry a gun to prove his manliness

That does mean I'm opposed to guns or people who go hunting or target practice. But a real turnoff for me has always been a guy who feels he needs to carry a gun around with him all the time 'just because I can'. I dated a guy like that, one night after too many drinks he was playing with it for some odd reason and it just scared the bejesus out of me. Fortunately, when he left the room to go to the bathroom I hide the thing in hopes he wouldn't miss it when he came back. He did and he got angry about it (but not violent - he was scary but not physical)) but finally I said I would give it back to him in the morning when he sobered up and that in my house he was no longer to bring that gun.

A week later we broke up, I just really didn't want to be around someone who glamourized guns. That was 20 years ago and I still haven't changed my mind about guns.

There are alot of people in this country who want to be able to do what George Zimmerman has done - randomly shoot someone just because they 'don't trust them'. They know if Zimmerman can get away with it then one day they might be able to do the same thing. If he gets busted then these 'Stand Your Ground' laws might be challenged and possibly removed from law.

The gun nuts in this country are scary!

it's the gun nut racists that haven't evolved since the 1800s. Most times this is what is referred to as "taking back our country".

And their elected reps feed into the bottom crawling with dog whistles and smiles.

We've been a country for over 200 years and haven't gotten beyond this yet and with the shock jocks and faux news I doubt if we ever do.

Good luck and Peace
