RWNJ Kevin O'Leary on CNBC: "Let's take a state, and remove the minimum wage for a year."

" . . . and see what happens."

Oh, and he's also arguing that "the market should decide the minimum wage" . . . should that be 8, 7 or 6 dollars an hour. Yeah, that 6 dollar/hour figure is also from him.

Unbelievable.

Anyone who thinks a 7.25 minimum wage is too high . . . yeah, I instantly don't take you seriously. AT all. Suggesting lower than that . . . well, you need to look up the term "Not Even Wrong".

10.10 isn't even a proper inflation correction.

Oh, and Kevin . . . aren't you CANADIAN??? What do YOU care what OUR wage is or what our market sets or whatever? I feel sorry for the citizens of that great nation now belching out nutters like this . .. and Harper.

If food-stamp usage goes down, the program is deemed a success.

Less tax-money spent on food stamps! Conservatives will like that!

most depressed areas in the US. Densel Washington did a movie in this area and said it was the most depressed area he had ever seen. The poll was about
70% against raising the minimum wage. They have a poll today in another local paper, should there be a tax surcharge on the rich, it is currently 70% plus no.

We already know what society without a minimum wages is like. In history books we call it The Gilded Age, and it fucking sucked for everybody except the super-rich. Which ought to sound kind of familiar.

For very similar reasons we also know what a society without Social Security, Medicare, Food stamps, the FDA, the EPA, a regulated financial industry, and free public education, etc.... is like.

It sucked for everybody except the super rich.

He's one of those 'let the market decide' idiots that talks out both sides of his mouth. He's a psychopath who doesn't care about anyone or anything but money. He thinks he understands how the market works, but only buys stocks that pay dividends. He claims he got to where he was with hard work...no mentioned of the thousands his parents gave him for a start up business (how many parents can give $10,000 to their kids for a 'start up'? That alone says he was a privileged asshole to start out with). He's a fake and a fraud and I think he only says these outrageous things because he wants everyone to pay attention to him. I think when they came up with the term 'beady little eyes' they were looking at Kevin O'Leary. Look at his eyes - he's a soulless dickhead. Another one who was born on third base and thinks he hit a home run.

Pay that 10 million exec only $100,000 and see how things work out! Try it in one state for a year. Start with that bozo first.

That was in 1970 or there about. That's 44 years ago! For it to only rise by 6 bucks in that time span is inexcusable.
