There was no mention of Zimmerman having a bloody nose in the first police report

http://www.mcclatchydc.com/2012/03/21/142736/commission-votes-no-confidence.html

-Initial police reports never mentioned that Zimmerman had a bloody nose or a wet shirt that showed evidence of a struggle. Attorneys for the dead teen's family believe the information was added in a second report to justify the lack of an arrest.

----------------------------------------------

Is it common to write multiple police reports in a case like this?

1. I have only heard this "bloody nose" statement ONCE..

in passing, I think on MSNBC. So many things about this are so very suspicious. I agree something is amiss about the "bloody nose".

2. That is Because It is a Lie, sir, Concocted well After the Incident

And no; police reports ar made up once and once only, at least when done honestly and properly.

3. Sounds like it could be an attempt to justfy the crime -

At the very LEAST I wanna hear directly from the witnesses that Zimmerman had a bloody nose and wet shirt before I even start to believe it.

With that said, even if he did have a bloody nose and wet shirt, Martin was stalked and accosted by Zimmerman, and HE had a right to defend himself.

Can't wait to see the differences between the two reports and the explaination given for the discrepancy.

4. Here's the report..

http://www.sanfordfl.gov/investigation/docs/Twin%20Lakes%20Shooting%20Initial%20Report.pdf

It's in the second officer statement.

Unless the attorneys believe there's a report previous to this one? The date on this report is 3:07am.

5. Each officer should write his own report and that appears to be what happened here

6. After reading the report, I wondered

the same thing. Zimmerman's dad never mentioned anything about his son having injuries either. Also, the police did not take any pictures of his injuries.

So much incompetence with this tragedy....
