Officer Krawtez gets a slap on the wrist for a kick in the head. :-/

http://www.woonsocketcall.com/node/4871

PROVIDENCE – The Lincoln police officer convicted of kicking a handcuffed woman in the head during a security detail at Twin River has escaped jail time for the offense.
Associate Superior Court Judge Edward C. Clifton Monday sentenced Officer Edward Krawetz to a 10-year suspended sentence, with probation, and ordered him to seek mental health counseling for “whatever issues” he is grappling with. Clifton rejected the prosecution’s recommendation that Krawetz be sentenced to seven years, with 18 months to serve at the ACI because Krawetz didn’t use a gun or a knife and the victim wasn’t injured.

1. WTF victim wasn't injured. What victims like to be kicked in the fucking head because it feels good

What about emotional injury of being kicked in the head by a fucking C student all while handfuckingcuffed. Shameful fucker.

2. Yes, I understand your outrage

But the good part of this whole thing is that he was *convicted* of the offense, and even though his sentence is inappropriate, it now opens a clear path for the victim to bring an easy-to-win civil case against the pig. And if she gets jurors anything like you and I, she may very well end up being awarded every cent that the cock sucker will ever make for the rest of his sorry ass life; whereas if he had been reprimanded to the big house, he would have had no earnings at all for the entire length of his sentence. "And in the end, the meek shall inherit the earth".

5. And how many victims of this cop got a "resisting arrest"

tacked on to their sentence because they tried to move while he physically assaulted him?

6. On the brighter side...

Jeffrey Asher finally got what was coming to him...

And Mr Pipi, a retired cop himself, though not in the same city, said he was glad the guy was convicted AND that he hopes they take away his pension.

So it just goes to show that not all cops side with their own.
