Yet another Contrived Debt Ceiling crisis, on the way. Thanks GOP

While we're waiting for the next Teapublican manufactured "Debt Crisis" to arrive, perhaps a short review of the Conservative "Perspective" is in order.

As Posted previously:

Economic Stability is NOT their intent. FURTHER deregulation of Corporate Finance continues to be the apparent prevailing GOP concern, while they concurrently threaten further social instability by “Reforming” programs emplaced and relied on since FDR.

Programs that provide a “Safety Net” for the rest of us DO NOT serve the Corporate constituency of the GOP, they obviously resent Tax Revenue in support of those programs to the extent of pushing intended FAILURE of our entire economy.

THAT would ensure *Catastrophic Loss* of the above mentioned programs, would ensure that GOP policies of *Austerity* become a permanent feature of our *Political and Economic* landscape.

Given their history, that behavior really shouldn't surprise any of us, right?

Crashing our economy is just "Business as Usual" for the GOP, since We the Public Entity will bear the resulting hardships, not the 1%.

Thanks Conservatives.

And dumped back into their laps. There ought to be consequences. They deserve to be charged with some kind of crime, and be exposed to the public. There should be a punishment for sedition against the government.

I've waited a while to post this, until general comments had tapered off regarding the last, most recent manufactured "Debt Crisis".

Can't believe how up front the Teapublicans have become, not even concerned (apparently) about public approval, they'll do anything in support of Big Business interests. As I'm sure you're aware, they've manufactured what are essentially "Government Shutdowns", then point to the resulting chaos and declare that the current administration isn't handling the Economy up to their expectations.

All the while denying ALL spending on Public Infrastructure and related programs, Conservative tactics won't allow any Economic Stimulus to occur since that would benefit the rest of us. And reflect positively on the Obama Presidency, of course, which cannot be allowed to happen. One simple example?

http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/09/19/veterans-jobs-bill-blocked-in-the-senate/

They're shameless, current GOP house and Senate leadership, and I completely agree with you that Teapublicans and cooperative (complicit) Conservatives are intentionally harming our national economy, which while not technically "Treasonous" is certainly "Subversive" and destructive to our entire current society, "Sedition" is appropriate. If this behavior is pushed far enough it may cause another economic spiral into oblivion, a repeat of 2008, we're all threatened by their actions and "At Risk", being held hostage just as tho a weapon were pointed at "We The Public" by these malicious A$$holes. Pointing a "Weapon" of economic damage at the rest of us by denying ALL Government Funding is a literal description of their intended actions.

I'm not being facetious when I state that they are criminals, they deserve prison time, just as surely as the Wall Street criminals who "Reformed" Glass Steagall for purposes of "Gaming" the system.

Thanks, always appreciate your thoughtful comments

Although I spend all day perusing GD.

It is manufactured crisis. They don't govern. Teahadists manipulate by SHOCK DOCTRINE. They sting, stun, and then fuck us. This is the real violence in a sex act. The country has been ethically raped by the tea party.

Seriously they are trying to fuck the country in favor of the Fascist MIC.

I'm sure the responsible parties (Teapublican Legislators) will never admit that economic violence on a national scale is on par with sexual violation, but I agree that similarities can certainly be drawn.

For instance, many sexual "Predators" point to the victim and try to place blame for the "Violation" on their behavior, a clear similarity with these Economic Terrorists. Hence, since we're vulnerable to their tactics of Predatory Behavior, we're "Responsible" for being weak (IE Easy Targets), right?

That's at the core of Conservative values, by the way. "Buyer Beware" essentially describes a scenario in which "laissez faire" rules prevail, the weak will always be taken advantage of under conditions of sustained "Free Market" enterprise.

Like the US Health Care system, in which the Insurance Predators have taken advantage of the rest of us for several decades, fully intend to continue that "Free Market" behavior for as long as possible.

Appreciate the supportive replies, as always.

I'm not a small business owner but have family in that position, they're stricken by the same partisan "Economic Games" you're complaining about. Sorry about that.

And the question is, will it ever end? Don't think so, as long as the Tepublican Wingnuts have their hands on the levers of power, they'll continue to hold us hostage under threats of economic terrorism.

Yet another feather in the cap of Conservative Doctrine, and there are so many. Setting aside the economy for a moment, here are a few significant others.
