The mayor of Toronto: Comedic Genius?

Last edited Tue Nov 19, 2013, 03:10 AM - Edit history (1)

The Toronto mayor scandal makes me miss Chris Farley. Can't you just imagine his playing the best Rob Ford ever?

Some have pointed out that Ford does a fine job of playing himself. I'm not sure whether he's channeling Farley's ghost or a comedic genius in his own right, but he sure is fun to watch, maybe not so much if you're from Toronto.

2. even the tragicomic move where he bowls over a city councilor on his way to try and

get his brother from an altercation between brother (also a city councilor) and members of the public.

The most Chris Farleyesque moves were definitely in the released video of the mayor in a drunken rant about how he was gonna kill somebody.

Farley is reborn in Rob Ford's body.

7. Cheney was dangerous.

Ford is harmless in comparison. He's mainly an embarrassment for Toronto and Canada. Cheney was a threat to humanity.

9. Yeah, he really reminds me of Farley

Only he's not trying to be funny. I guess you could consider him an unintentional comedic genius.
