It'll be hard to release them into the wild once they're used to being fed by a human but hopefully mother nature (and the marines) will find a way.

long enough to be released. They stress out so easily, survival rates are dismal even for trained veterinarians.

after a field had been mowed and they were all scampering for their lives and we would take them home and try to care for them, but they all died. We only did that one summer.
