Here's the Wikipedia link:
Poe's Law

and from Rational Wiki:
Poe's Law

On edit: Something's wrong with the "link" code. Nothing wrong with the way I entered it, but it's not displaying right.

Google "Poe's Law" and you'll get it.

From RationalWiki here's the defn:

Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of Fundamentalism that SOMEONE won't mistake for the real thing.

if our red footed friends are serious or if their,,,,, "something" is sucking wind.
It's just hard to belive that people fall for this stuff.
If you have a scanner and you're birth cirtificate do this it's fun.
Go ahead and scan it in.
Go out on the internet and get you some toys.
On close examination you will find that YES you too were born in Kenya.
I'll explain again. Their not 'layers' their objects.
Objects can be combined to form parts of a document.
If you realy want to belive that Obama is gonna take you're guns away you call those combinations layers.
All things, even people, are a sum of their parts.

But don't forget Poe's Law. Fundies (religious or political) cannot distinguish the parody from the real thing. So we all must be "vewy, vewy cawfull".

(sorry about the Elmer Fudd)

They imitate our language, apparently without understanding it. We laugh at this, but the many who don't understand it either find them perfectly believable.

"The leftwing radicals controlling mainstream media are even trying to use an ebook with details from the investigation - published because investigators knew the mainstream media would rush to cover them up!"

It's definitely languagelike substance, but it doesn't seem to actually possess meaning.

"The truth is, we've got Barack Obama right where we want him."

That's not funny enough to be satire.

"There is NO EXCUSE, NONE for the leftwing media trying to protect Barack Obama and his radical transformation of America into an undemocratic, unrecognizable, nation whose major media networks are enslaved to Obama's 'eco-friendly' talking points."

That's a whole science-fiction, alternate-universe story in a single sentence. If it were SUPPOSED to be flash fiction, it would be pretty impressive.
