5. Indeed.

And all seem well represented in the media, except for the poor woman in the bottom right hand corner.

That reminds me of my mother.

Years ago, she was in excruciating pain with a bad gallbladder. All the paperwork for the spend down had yet to go through, so the secretary at the doctor's office refused to schedule the surgery, saying and I quote, "She's waited this long. A few more days won't hurt her."

I have nothing but disdain for people that want to go back to the days before Obamacare and use excuses like website bugs to push for the repeal or delay of a law that is helping and will help so many. That was the first real experience I had with realizing just how poor we were and how evil the haves could be to the have nots. That experience contributed a lot to me being the Dem I am today.

6. I just bet they're well represented in the US media and of

course they would say nothing about how ACA will help once they get through the glitch part.

Sorry, your Mom had to go through that, Bluegrass. I think one reason Pres Obama wanted this so much was his Mom had to go through similiar obstruction from an insurance company to get the care she needed.

"She's waited this long. A few more days won't hurt her." that's a mean spirited attitude to have when dealing with people who need medical attention.. right Now!

10. "A few more days won't hurt her."

In some cases it could actually kill a person...

Having been through Gall Bladder complications, I can't imagine going a few more days like that.

I especially like the "lazy lapdog" pundit one, although they should have said that some "liberal" ones have said and written the exact same crap - "train wreck", "disaster", "botched". Might as well call it "snowmageddon".

17. Those types depicted arrived at their "verdict" by this process, she..

Those who have been helped with Pre Existing Conditions have a different story worth telling..

You Might Hate Obamacare, But It's Saved These People's Lives

"Obamacare officially opened for enrollment at 8:17 a.m. this past Tuesday, despite glitches in the system and a government shutdown.

Two years ago, in October 2011, Blogger Miss M. Turner accidentally ended up starting the 'I am Obamacare' movement when she a posted a photo expressing just how much the Affordable Care Act will help her.

And in the last week, while the government has stayed firmly shut, an increasing number of people have come out to talk about the ways in which the act is changing lives.

So as we near the end of week one of the shutdown, we decided to showcase some moving stories of the positive change that is happening because America finally has access to affordable healthcare.

Miss M. Turner couldn't pay for a tumor surgery until Obamacare came along because insurance providers decided she had a pre-existing condition."

15. I think I'm tired of the ACA website meme now .

They're really on a rip roaring rampage.
I just feel like I'm going to mock them no matter what now.
Haven't over a half million signed up in addition to the expanded Medicaid? Isn't that progress?
I just want to be happy it's finally here now. Is that so wrong? Isn't it okay to want it to work and believe it WILL work? I think they're soo scared that the website will be fixed soon and they have no idea how to govern anymore. And everybody will find out they don't know jack sh** about getting things done.
Republicans talk about things, Democrats get things done. Everybody knows it now.

20. Folks who need help, there are many local offices to go to, and you can mail paper forms.

https://www.healthcare.gov/how-do-i-apply-for-marketplace-coverage/

Find your local office here:
https://localhelp.healthcare.gov/

Planned Parenthood would be happy to help. Also many local clinics and drugstores in even small rural towns in red states would help. If you don't need subsidies, you can go to ehealthinsurance.com.

The ONLY reason Republicans are throwing a fit over the website and spreading bullshit and fear is because they really don't want people to sign up. They are rooting for failure by discouraging young healthy impatient people. Its not that hard to do. Its up to us as democrats to help our communities, friends, families, etc. know this because for some reason our politicians have chosen to give up on PR. People who have waited many years for coverage won't mind waiting to do it in an office or by paper. Its the young people who don't know that accidents and illness happen when they least expect it, that Republicans want to manipulate. Shit happens. Lives get ruined over unexpected medical bills.

Its VERY important to convince young healthy people to get coverage BEFORE something bad happens. This generation is the one that will bring us single payer in the near future if we implement this ACA right.

This country has existed for 2 centuries without any websites at all. Many poor folks don't even have computers. Lack of instant gratification at home in your underwear is NOT a sign of failure.

Share with as many people as you can.
