on the SENATE floor
Quoted this NY Times Article from Yesterday
A Federal Budget Crisis Months in the Planning
The billionaire Koch brothers, Charles and David, have been deeply involved with financing the overall effort. A group linked to the Kochs, Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce, disbursed more than $200 million last year to nonprofit organizations involved in the fight. Included was $5 million to Generation Opportunity, which created a buzz last month with an Internet advertisement showing a menacing Uncle Sam figure popping up between a woman’s legs during a gynecological exam.
The groups have also sought to pressure vulnerable Republican members of Congress with scorecards keeping track of their health care votes; have burned faux “Obamacare cards” on college campuses; and have distributed scripts for phone calls to Congressional offices, sample letters to editors and Twitter and Facebook offerings for followers to present as their own.
Bernie asked that the
Article from NY TIMES be submited

2. Gee. So this is the USA where each person's vote is equal? Except if you have enough money to buy
the candidate who will make the decisions for millions of single voters.
Corporations are not even part of decision making of a democracy. Under our constitution, they are to be regulated by a democracy and it's people. The Koch brothers are subverting the principle of a free and equal majority rule of a true democracy. The unfettered influence of the uber-wealthy Koch brothers and other very very wealthy people in our country and across the world have no right to force their will on a voting majority. You and I, as single voters with no money to own or threaten the nations law makers are being oppressed by the power taken by these subversive brothers and their ilk. It is corruption, and it must be stopped in our country.
Do you agree? Then...
Who will press the charges? The Attorney General or all of us?
