Treasury Sec. Lew admits the country is broke.

He said:
"US has been using 'extraordinary measures' to keep paying the bills since May;
says he informed Congress that he won't have any more measures on Oct. 17"
and
"I'm telling you that on the 17th, we run out of our ability to borrow, and Congress is playing with fire - "
