Anyone else work for someone with crap health insurance? The two temp agencies

I've worked for had "health insurance" that would end up taking most of my pay check each week. I think Walmart offers a similar plan. Sign-ups for employer backed health insurance for next year should be going out any day now. I'm curious whether anyone has seen changes in the policies on offer and/or seen their company drop the policies entirely.

I've always been covered by his insurance because the package I was offered by my employer was both super crappy and super expensive. If the temp agency's package has improved, my husband's company may decide that I will have to get my coverage there. Or, if the package is still crappy, maybe they'll tell me to go out on the exchange. I'm just antsy to see which direction this is going.

FWIW - I'm thinking the ACA requires employers to offer insurance within certain limits or else pay a fine. I'm guessing that I'll be on my company's package next year.

It's become a necessary life skill.
