PALM BEACH A Pennsylvania doctor has been identified as the man who sent the package that caused a scare at the home of radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh on Thursday evening.
Police said that Dr. Eric Brader, an emergency-room physician who lives in the northern Pittsburgh suburb of Wexford, Pa., sent a package that was intended to be a business proposition for Limbaugh.
Brader, 54, will not face charges from the incident, Palm Beach police spokesman Fred Hess said. A phone call to Brader's home this evening was not immediately returned.
According to the police report, a member of Limbaugh's security staff went to the U.S. Post Office at 400 South County Road shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday and picked up a package that was addressed to Limbaugh.
