It Really Needs To Be Said (Again)

The Republican party is Rush Limbaugh's bitch. They've bowed down to him, apologized after the slightest less-than-worshipful comments made about him, and never contradicted any of the completely cruel, racist, and just plain ugly things he's said. Boehner's aid's comment about what Rush said being "inappropriate" is the weakest, blandest, statement possible.

Let me just come right out and be blunt: anything less than full outrage is agreement. The "inappropriate" statement says they think Rush didn't phrase it right, but not that they disagree. How could they disagree after the last two weeks of assault against women? Rush just put it in plainer terms than they would like.

Bottom line, Republicans are Rush's bitch, have been for a long time, and are responsible for what he says by virtue of not ever standing against it except to say it was "inappropriate" in a feeble, pathetic attempt to slightly pander to women.

Drop 'em boys, and accept the porcine shaft of punishment!

i find it an odd choice of words, especially given the nature of the furor.

given the nature of the furor. Repubs are going after women, but they, the Repubs, are also under Limbaugh's thumb. To put it politely.

The main point being, they didn't object to Rush, they knew exactly what he is, and that is their tacit agreement with him. What Rush said has no place in political discourse and, by extension, the Republicans have no place in political discourse.
