from congresscritters to hacks to editors to talking heads to "think tanks" to pundits and the list goes on....

these people are mere employees of the big moneyed interests, and if one employee doesn't work out for any reason, they'll just hire another. there's no shortage of people willing -- no, eager -- to do and say anything for the kind of money they can get in service of the ultra-rich.

The thing is, when you are watching or listening to a show that's supported by advertising, you aren't the customer, you're the product.

It's rather like that old advice about poker games, if after thirty minutes of play you don't know who the mark is then you're the mark.

with limbaugh as point man.

i don't care how much he makes but the stations that broadcast limbaugh have to pay overhead with local ad revenue. when those sponsors start feeling the shame that would come with ANY organized opposition to talk radio from the Left this shit would start to wind down. instead, there is NO organized opposition to the right's best weapon. instead, 76 major universities endorse limbaugh alone, by broadcasting sports on 170 of his stations. https://sites.google.com/site/universitiesforrushlimbaugh/

12. I emailed GM back when Rush had "Barack the Magic Negro" on his show and they were sponsors..

The reply I got was stunning in its arrogance and when I replied in kind they actually researched my email and found out my full name which was not part of my email and replied to me in a "we know who you are" manner.

I must say I was conflicted over the GM bailout a few years later, I felt for the workers but GM management could die in a fucking fire for all I care.
