Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney stepped into a political pothole during a campaign appearance in Toledo, Ohio on Wednesday when he told a group of homeless protesters they should move in with their servants rather than live on the street.
The protesters, a mix of permanent street dwellers and those who recently lost their homes through foreclosures, confronted Romney as he left a campaign appearance and asked if he had a plan to help them.
You lost your home? Wow, you have my sympathies. Do your servants have their own homes? Maybe you could live with them? Romney said to the protesters. No one wants to have to move in with their butler but these are hard times, my friends. Thats why my Im running for president, so the upper classes dont have to associate with those who are beneath them.

(1,628 posts)i'm moving to Ireland as soon as possible. I hate to leave my fellow Americans behind, but those remarks would leave me asking for more Bush. Are the American people going to vote for this guy?
Even Bush wouldn't say that. I'm ready for my President to rip this guy a new one. Either way, A passport is a good idea.

(1,628 posts)And what blows my mind is that dumb ass blunt crap that tried to go through Congress.
EVERY woman in this country should be so alarmed that they would exceed the Occupy numbers!
And for it to be defeated at that number is more alarming than I would have thought.
Jeebus, i'm getting close to a severe rant!!
why any woman could vote Republican these days is beyond me.
Nearly 100% of women have used birth control, so the GOP is declaring war on it.
What has this country that a vote like that is even considered possible?

Mitt Romney vows to start having affairs
By Marcus Manfred
January 25, 2012
In an attempt to undo his slide in the polls, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney suddenly reversed his position on adultery and said he would cheat on his wife Ann at least three times before the next Republican presidential primary.
"Newt Gingrich turned his multiple affairs into an asset by attacking the media, so by golly whats sauce for the gander is now a mighty goose for the gizzard," Romney said at a campaign stop in Tallahassee, Fla. "That's the kind of decisive determination you can expect from me as commander-in-chief too."
