12. This reminds me of a time when my whole family was going somewhere and some kids were selling

lemonade and we didn't have time to stop. So my mother threw some coins, (it was a LONG time ago) out the window and said, "We'll be back for our lemonade later. Of course we didn't go back but it was one a many lessons my parents taught me.

14. Just lovely, MrScorpio...we need to feel this loving human warmth

everyday. Otherwise, life is just not worth the pain and trouble.

15. Thanks for this OP!

I used to love to read the writings of a woman named Anne Herbert, don't hear about her anymore. I think she was the one who coined the phrase random acts of kindness, senseless acts acts of beauty. She was also a remarkably honest human, her writing reflected that, it was that rare honesty that just jumped off the page and hit you. I forget where I used to read her work, probably the old CoEvolution Quarterly (the predecessor of the Whole Earth Review, hope I'm remembering this correctly).

Used the google on her:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1426255.Random_Acts_of_Kindness
http://goodneighborstories.com/tag/anne-herbert/

Anyway she isn't really the point, though I don't know how many people these days are aware of her.

The real point is the kind of things shown in this OP, which are more relevant and needed today than ever.
