Republican Congressional Candidate Says 'Holocaust “It’s the blackest lie in history.

Art Jones, who hopes to challenge Democrat Dan Lipinski in Illinois' 3rd Congressional District, neither denies nor repudiates his past affiliation with the neo-Nazi Party.

A congressional candidate running as a Republican in the upcoming Illinois primary says the “Holocaust never happened.”

Arthur Jones, 64, a Lyons, IL, insurance salesman who organizes family-friendly, neo-Nazi events around Adolf Hitler’s birthday, hopes to be the Republican candidate chosen to run against Democratic Congressman Dan Lipinski in Illinois’ 3rd Congressional District.

“As far as I’m concerned, the Holocaust is nothing more than an international extortion racket by the Jews,” Jones said. “It’s the blackest lie in history. Millions of dollars are being made by Jews telling this tale of woe and misfortune in books, movies, plays and TV.

Sadly, they aren't the only ones that think this way. There are many who aren't Holocaust deniers (or minimalists) who also believe the same thing.

in my life (live in the 'deep south'), but never have I met a holocaust denier. Thankfully so, I would have to taunt them in public and it might turn out ugly.

Of course, finding out I was a Jew (I don't look like one, according to them), I was simply a part of the Zionist conspiracy to promote "Jew superiority" and corruption of Christian morals. Though, being from the deep South, I met a few in Boston and Pittsburgh. It amazes me how ignorant people are, including those who are supposedly educated. Not all Holocaust deniers, despite common beliefs, are knuckle-dragging troglodytes.

that I have seen and heard first hand. About Mormons too. I really don't know what they were expecting to see/person they wanted to meet? A Rabbi? But I have heard that more then once...'well, not what I was expecting.' Followed by a smile. After said person leaves the building of course.

The Nazi party is banned in Germany. So, in 1983, when an ex-SS officer wanted to organize
a neo-Nazi party, he had to look for another name. He found one in the good old USA: his new
party was christened "Die Republikaner." They get less than 1% of the vote, but they're still around.

American Republicans get all huffy when I tell them, and angrily demand to know if I'm saying all
Republicans are Nazis. "Not at all," I reply with a smile. I tell them I just find it unfortunate that a
bunch of nostalgic German ex-Nazis find our Republicans so inspiring that they would adopt their name.

He was the leader of the American Nazi Party. But never declared himself to be a republican. The house was firebombed once and had guards for his small lower class suburban house.

Ah.. the sixties..
