chemical weapons, the United States is

3. Must be tough being the decider of whom is worse: Assad or extremists aligned with al-Qaeda.
And all along I had though it were gospel that al-Qaeda is a ubiquitous evil incarnate so great as to require a several hundred billion dollar annual expenditure just to thwart. Now I'm confused, so which is it?
