If put to a national referendum, where would we find ourselves with respect to women's choice?

I would like to think that reproductive choice would be affirmed as a fundamental freedom. But would it stand?

I am referring to the choice to terminate a pregnancy and the choice to prevent one.

What do you think?

And I suspect, once you cease discussing the issue with the bogus "experts" on this issue, and talk to normal people, and not Fundie nut cases, and Catholic bishops, you would find that most people are in favor of contraception, and the right for a woman to choose to have an abortion.

For instance, most Jewish people have no moral attitude about abortion, just as most Catholics didn't get told it was wrong until something like the eight century. (Not remembering the pertinent Catholic catechism on this, but for many centuries after Christ's death, abortion was not even mentioned by the Church Fathers.
