I've lived here for 6 1/2 years and can't remember it being this hot and humid for this long.

(111,245 posts)A week of it was usually a remarkable heat wave and temperatures would drop into the slightly less oppressive 80s by the time the week was up.
NYC and Boston aren't that far apart as far as weather goes. When one is hot and soggy, the other will be, too, except it happens a little later for Boston.

(15,859 posts)Right now is 95 up where I am, and only 88 in NYC. Hell, its hotter here than it is in Florida at this moment. It definitely never used to be like this! I only a decade or so ago, my friend in Cali would call just to tease me about how warm it was there compared to here (because I love the heat). Now Its the exact opposite. Its like living in a different place.

(12,869 posts)Thats just not right. And the "feels like" temp right now is 102!!! It should never be hotter way up here than in TX. Its just wrong. Completely backwards!
