Does anyone know where/who the 'Snowden is on the Plane' rumor got started?

It's a question I have not been able to find the answer to. I don't want to assume, I am looking for the source -- the earliest reports of this rumor.

Thank you if you can help!

5. Ok, that made me laugh!

But I really wish we could find out who started this rumor.

3. James O'Keefe?

I'm always right. When I'm wrong I admit it.
So then I'm right about being wrong.

4. Interestingly, if all this happened on Tuesday, I saw someone on DU post it as early as Saturday.

Though, more likely Sunday or Monday. At the time I was like "Oh, where did they get that rumor from?" and searched but I don't recall finding anything. Yesterday when all this happened I was thinking "Man, apparently that rumor had some legs with a couple of different countries."

I don't have a link. I presume whomever got it, got it off Twitter. That's just my hunch.

6. Evo Morales himself, albeit jokingly?

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/07/03/world/europe/snowden.html?hpw

..."In an interview with the television station Russia Today, Mr. Maduro said he would consider any request by Mr. Snowden. Then, ending the interview with a dash of humor, he said, Its time for me to go; Snowden is waiting for me. "

7. There was no "rumor".

It was US bulling plain and simple.
