So why does the religious freedom of the Catholic Bishops trump the rights of workers who EARN the

benefits? The bishops make it sound as if the benefits are owned by the Catholic employers. They aren't. It is not their money. The benefits are owned by the workers who earned them. How is this different from a Jewish or Muslim employer telling their employees that they can't buy pork with their salary?

Only if you are a Bishop? It is the workers buying the insurance with money they EARNED. Neither the benefits nor the money to pay for the benefits belong to the Bishops. So it is not their call to say whether the benefits can cover contraception.
