A top official with the National Rifle Association said Friday that President Obama will move to "destroy" gun rights and "erase" the Second Amendment if he is re-elected in November.

While delivering one of the liveliest and best-received speeches at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre said the president's low-key approach to gun rights during his first term was "a "conspiracy to ensure re-election by lulling gun owners to sleep."

Yes. You read it right. Obama's grand scheme is to destroy the Second Amendment in his second term.

Further, owning a firearm is apparently the greatest freedom of all...

Mr. LaPierre, who said "there is no greater freedom than to own a firearm," predicted that gun owners will rally en masse to defeat Mr. Obama in November.

"All of what we know is good and right about America, all of it could be lost if Barrack Obama is re-elected," he said. "It's all or nothing."

Batshit crazy. There is no other explanation.

Not just in a general sense. It seems the Republican party is really stretching and digging. Appealing to all of the old strategies that at one time or another, got results. I believe more citizens are waking up to the facts of slanted economics and closed "open" markets. Might be delusional, but I'd love to believe some enlightenment is actually occuring.

- he will take away your right to keep and bear arms,
- he will take away your right to have an abortion,
- he will take away your right to have same-sex marriages,
- he will take away your right to believe evolution,
- he will take away your right to believe creationism,

While We the People fight over such divisive, polarizing issues for which a compromise seems impossible, the corporatists finance candidates from both parties and tighten their control of the People's government.

15. I work with a couple of the bat shit crazy gun nuts.

They truly believe the apocalypse is upon us with the reelection of President Obama. They openly throw in a few N words for effect. I asked them if they've had any guvmint agents at their door trying to take their guns.... silence. But there's no getting through to these folks.
