L.A. County Board of Supervisors implements a $1000 fine for throwing Frisbees and footballs

on county beaches. YOU CAN NO LONGER THROW A FRISBEE OR FOOTBALL ON THE BEACH IN L.A. COUNTY.

Government is not always a good thing. This is fucking ridiculous. I grew up on L.A. County beaches doing guess what? I will never again spend money to park in an L.A. County parking lot in order to visit an L.A. County beach. In fact, I've visited L.A. County beaches for the last time. Fuck those idiots.

"The updated rules now prohibit “any person to cast, toss, throw, kick or roll” any object other than a beach ball or volleyball “upon or over any beach” between Memorial Day and Labor Day."

Really? Seriously? Seriously?

"Your kids could also end up costing you big bucks: the ordinance also prohibits digging any hole deeper than 18 inches into the sand except where permission is granted for film and TV production services only."

Sand Nazis. Next you'll need a building permit for sand castles.

Are rugby footballs illegal, too? My son-in-law has played beach rugby in Santa Monica on Sundays for several years.

that do not fall under the jurisdiction of another entity - say Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beaach, City of Los Angeles, or Long Beach? (Hey, that was pretty comprehensive!)
