(16,113 posts)You'd think as a SPECIES we would have developed SUFFICIENTLY that SCIENCE would come up as a better rule than this. There must be some way to SEIZE the initiative and come up with some rule in the same VEIN as this. Perhaps some FEISTY FOREIGNER can help with THEIR better understanding of various languages.
I heard that rule when I was little, but it's mostly bullshit.

(22,871 posts)enough to run a business could be stupid enough to wear their politics on their sleeve. It leaves potential customers to make a choice as to whether they agree with your politics or not,you're losing customers because of it even if you gain a few who agree with you.

(32,822 posts)Up here they've got their own phone book (granted, it's fairly slim), the first thing you see when you walk in the store is religious stuff (kind of odd for a lock store) and the first thing they say to you has a dog whistle in it.
I usually respond "Blessed be" and it goes downhill from there.
