Martin Bashir = the best. Asks the hard ?s & even uses follow up ?s - discuss.

He is right up there, imho, with Rachel as far as asking intelligent questions. He knows his stuff and does not let his guests get away with bs. If they feed him a line of BS, he is right there questioning them into getting as close to the truth as possible.

I think I love him because he is hard hitting.
And that accent:

So my question really should go to the management of NBC conglomeration.....
Why isn't someone like Martin Bashir hosting Meet the Press?? Rachel I could understand. She is no doubt 100% liberal & proudly wears it on her sleeve.
Bashir keeps it to himself, altho he is left leaning. But so what? Faux has Chris Wallace.

Could you imagine having a Sun morning talk show where the pols actually have to answer questions, and are called out on their bs & talking points. That would be a show worth watching!

I'd love it if they got rid of that worthless David Gregory and put a hard hitter like Bashir in his place.

Any other Martin Bashir fans out there?

I don't watch him regularly... yet, but when I see him or hear him on satellite radio, I'm usually impressed with his questions too. He really goes after people when he senses ingenuousness. He would be great on MTP.

and has proof when needed. He would be better than David G on MTP because they have different definitions of journelism...David thinks its just to report what is told him, nothing else. Bashir believes in seeking and telling the truth and when he has someone lying to him, he doesn't just let it slide like Gregory does.
