Hey! Allen West! Ever heard of "Fox News," you smug, clueless fuckstick?

Allen West: Joseph Goebbels Would Be 'Very Proud' Of Democrats' 'Incredible Propaganda Machine'

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/12/15/allen-west-joseph-goebbels-democrats-propaganda_n_1152365.html

Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) on Thursday invoked a prominent figure from Nazi Germany while answering a question about America's dissatisfaction with Congress.

The Washington Post reported that when asked about the fact that more Americans blame Republicans than Democrats for Congress' inaction, West said, "If Joseph Goebbels was around, he'd be very proud of the Democrat Party, because they have an incredible propaganda machine," said West during Thursday's House votes. "Let's be honest, you know, some of the people in the media are complicit with this and enabling them to get that type of message out."

Goebbels, who served as Hitler's Propaganda Minister, was known for his promotion of rabidly anti-Semitic media, which helped turn Germany against Jews. Politico notes that West's district in South Florida is home to a significant Jewish population. When pressed on the Nazi link, West dismissed the question.

"I'm talking about propaganda, OK," he said. "Don't start taking my words and twisting it around. I'm talking about propaganda. And I think that's a very important thing."

I'm pretty sure Himmler would have been happy with West's technique for interrogating prisoner's...have your troops physically beat them and then ask them questions while holding a gun to their heads!

And then firing that gun right next to their ear!

Mr. West is so out of touch he would rather attack his opposing political party than work together to get our economy back on track. This is just another example of why Allen West needs to be replaced with someone who is focused on getting our economy rolling again.

Let Allen West know that he needs to apologize to America for his disgraceful comments. Tell Mr. West to stop trying to get on Fox News and focus on getting our economy working!

...take the thing that you do, and project it onto your opponent, thus muddying the waters and making any similar criticisms of yourself / your party look like tit-for-tat. So any response like "What about Fox News?" just looks like sour grapes to the less informed voters.

Republican politicians have no interest in factual debate, none whatsoever. Because factual debate would weaken their position, since people would begin to understand just whose interests are being served by their policies. Therefore, they do what is needed to keep people confused and misinformed.

It is similar to the Rove tactic of attacking your opponent's strength rather than their weakness. This is very effective because it hampers the opponent's ability to capitalize on their strengths. It is also only effective because the team employing it is willing to outright lie and smear.

Hint: Can't be done. It doesn't exist. Allen is completely unaware that the right fucking dominates talk shows, AM Radio and of course Fux Snooze.
