As much as I like Rachel,

Please, MSNBC, bring back Ed! At 8 pm! Pronto. I hardly even turn on MSNBC now. That is all.

1. They said he will be on weekends.

I've seen other new shows but not Ed's yet.

2. i just wish chris wasn't opposite jf. i really like them both.

ed got too strident for me. when is anyone going to talk about mcChinless' felony offense of using his staff for campaign purposes? he seems to have gotten really lucky on that one.

3. What's Rachel have to do with it?

Chris took Ed's slot, not Rachel. Ed will be on week-ends with more in depth stories according to him.

4. Just that she's about the only one I really make a special effort to tune in for. But, she is no Ed

That's all I meant. Ed had a unique voice on the network. Unions. Workers. The great screwing we are all getting.

9. I don't know about a screwing..

Ed's wife had cancer and he also has a radio show. I think it was getting too much to handle. I think his new format is going to be more suited to his working with the union. It sounds like he is going to do in depth coverage of one or two stories a week from location. Like when he was in Madison. I hope I understood that correctly because I'd enjoy seeing him to on location investigative type shows.

On Edit: he liked holding Town Halls too. Maybe he'll do more of those.

11. I sure hope so. That would actually be helpful. Someone needs to dig deep into what is really

going on, and what really happened/is happening. I hope you are right about the rumors, but I haven't seen a show yet, unless I have missed it.

12. Not on yet.

I thought his fb page was going to announce today because he sent out a teaser, but it turned out to be a picture of them at his lodge.

14. He has his hands full, that's for sure. I don't begrudge him one bit taking some time to do what he

needs to do. But I sure miss him. The lodge would be relaxing to me, but for him it is a business. He still has radio, and then the most important thing you mentioned, his wife. Ed, if you're peeking in, by chance, Godspeed. But, hurry back!

5. I prefer Chris Hayes in the 8:00 p.m. slot

Nothing against Ed. Just prefer Chris' wonkishness over Ed's passion.

15. After Al, you're supposed to switch to the Comedy Channel.

That's where the real news is!

7. I agree

I like Chris as a guest, but tonight, I tried watching him for two minutes and literally had to turn the station because his penchanttospeakasfastaspossibleanduseverylargewords made my head hurt.

10. Olbermann shot himself in the foot (many times over many years)

That said, I did like him, but he's his own worst enemy

13. No kidding. MSNBC sure has changed. Thank the universe that Olbermann ever was on the airwaves.

Without him, I'm not sure we would even be talking about what little we are, as a nation. At least, not as quickly.
