3. And yet another country shows the USA what NEEDS to happen...

Germany, England, Portugal, Spain, Australia...and about a dozen more including all the Scandinavian countries and Iceland are seriously kicking American ass on renewables...note to our Capitulator-in-Chief: the Republicans are still going to hate you a hundred years from now, but the rest of civilization would have an entirely different view of your time in office if you just keep your word on renewable energy and increase America's investment in it as much as humanly possible (and yes, that DOES mean by fighting for it).

5. I live in New Mexico.

Lots of sunshine here, just in case any of you don't already know that. A couple of weeks ago my son who lives in Kansas came out for a visit, and at one point, looking down at the roofs of a bunch of houses, he asked, "Where are the solar panels?"

Heck, I bet that even in generally cloudy parts of the country solar panels would still make sense. But they should certainly be on every house here.

6. The USA is in...

... it's race-to-the-bottom on just about every issue that comes up, isn't it?
The insane seems to be running our asylum.

7. I lived in Alice Springs, NT in the 70's....

and almost every single house in town had solar water heaters on their roofs.

I could never understand why they weren't more common in the states.
