They have pissed off half their supporters. If they reverse it now, they'll piss off the other half.

I can't see this car being backed out of the ditch.

In order for women to be able to trust in this relationship, there has to be a positive symbiosis. That has been destroyed. However, I do see PP coming through this as a stronger entity while SGK declines dramatically.

This very well could turn into one of the best things that has happened to PP in a long time.

If people want this to stick, pick five corporate sponsors off the exhaustive list posted here yesterday, and write them a snail mail letter.

Businesses are afraid of snail mail. It means that someone was pissed off enough to find out who their CEO is, write a letter, and find an address to mail it to. In other words, they're serious.

I'll be writing my letters this afternoon. I will not buy or use ANY product or service that donates to SGKF.

I don't think that will happen because they now feel that they have a Christian and religious duty to this cause. I think they're going to stay the course, probably until the first quarter results are released.

Should lots of partners, like Yoplait and others, start to bail, then they might change their minds. I just see these rock-ribbed rethug rangers as now having a "new purpose" behind their disgusting trashing of the SGK name.

she could resign, move to Africa to live in poverty, subsist on a diet of crickets and do charity work for the rest of her life and no one would forgive her.

komen is dead as a viable entity.

It's not that SGK suddenly went right-wing. It turns out that they've been right-wing and disgustingly corporate from the very beginning.

I hope the organization folds.

Let people give money for research to organizations that don't hate women, other than their tatas.

They've pulled all funding that is in any way connected with stem cell research. They've positioned themselves on the extreme far-right religious ideology and there's no coming back from that now.

with everyone, except the rabid right, no matter what they might try to do to mitigate the enormous damage to their 'brand'. I know I will never again donate a penny to them or support any activity in which they are involved. I will also be letting anyone who will listen what the Susan G Komen charity REALLY stands for.

More and more light is coming out about them and it is not pretty.
