Nancy Brinker's 2010 CEO salary

The Komen CEO salary in 2010 was $459,406 a year, according to Wiki.

PP has exceeded that amount in donations in 24 hours (or so).

Time to cut the CEO's salary to $50,000 and the rest of the money goes to PP.

The rest of the executives who hog the Komen cash and have exorbitant salaries should be cut down to a minimum of 40k/year

And learn to like it.

2. Salary reductions will cause the religious reich to flee

Seriously, do you think they care about charity, or more more more $$$ for themselves.

Like Jesus said, "Blessed are the rich, for they shall inherit the earth tax free"

3. I disagree. People who run charities have a right to a good salary

Maybe not half a million, but if you want qualified people do to that job, you need to pay them what they would get in the private sector. IMHO the job they are doing (the recent issue with PP aside) is far more important and they deserve to be compensated.

4. She's not qualified, though

It's a puppet company for Nancy. This started out as a tribute to her sister and now it's a vanity project.

8. Just an FYI - if you want to hide posts, just

click on the "trash this thread" button. You should be able to get rid of them that way if they bother you.

7. Charities and foundations are often employment programs......

For no-account relatives of the rich. They are a low-tax ways of preserving intergenerational wealth.
