It would ruin CSpan's ratings, but they might change their perspectives if they fealt more vulnerable.

As just one example, what are their masters willing to pay to get the coveted baseball cap, sure to be in every camera shot?

Usually listing every sponsor since childhood. I've gotten mailings from canidates that are virtually identical in format (5x7ish glossy postcard), but the sponsor list would be most illuminating.

And another consideration - some sponsorships (especially the smaller decals on the car) are contingency sponsorships, which pay for wins or top placing while using the sponsor's product - typically requiring a "victory lane" pic or similar as proof. I'd sure like to know who sends Yertle a check when votes go their way!
