3. Add to that

the stuff at Costco (house brand) is generally better than the same stuff at Sams.

7. Yes, it is.

We just re-joined after a long time at Sam's, and I noticed that, too.

6. We just joined!

They're definitely better than Sam's Club, better quality and selection. Prices are comparable, as well. The people who work there seem a whole lot happier than employees at Sam's which is very telling.

10. Welcome to Costco. I love you. Welcome to Costco. I love you.

Costco is so much better than Walmart. I've bought like 1/2 the furniture in my room from there.

11. We joined Costco years ago after several friends talked about the quality

of their meats and fish. Prescription eyeglasses are definitely a bargain (if you can find a frame you like), and bulk packaging is great for big families and those who like to cook and freeze.

Shop local farmer's markets for seasonal stuff, and local businesses for whatever you can -- hardware, car care, gifts, independent bookstores, etc.

It does matter!

12. There's a Costco in Halifax, NS. Planned to move there if Rmoney was elected.

My husband said "ok, as long as there's a Costco."

13. Our typical Sat - Farmers Market, then Costco, then Trader Joe. that's it!

provides us with everything we need for the week. We rarely use a typical grocery store....

14. This is hugely important. We make our biggest mark via their pocketbooks.

Support Costco, Trader Joe's, local restaurants, food coops, etc.

He he.
Yea, he's a man of the people.
So BRAVE, worth 2 billion and only taking a 350k salary.
I don't see how he makes it through the month paying his bills....

Oh - a pic of the house he lives in - you could get lost in it without a GPS -

16. Just went there to buy PUR pitcher filters. None there

I am a member until April but if they don't carry what I need to buy I cannot afford the membership fee no matter how well they treat their employees.

Just sayin.
