You won't have Benedict XVI to kick around anymore

11. It's a nice movie.
But I think its title is just a reference to the song "Brazil" of its soundtrack.
It has very few in common with current Brazil and even military regime Brazil (the Latin America dictacorships, though very destructive, were not exactly "orwellian states", rather than Latin "quarteladas").

6. I would agree if this were a royal wedding...
However, this is the abdication of the Papacy of a 2000+ year-old religious movement. It's a truly historic moment that will be looked upon for centuries.
Anyway, there wasn't all that much pageantry really. He waves goodbye, climbs on a helicopter for a short flight, lands, and again waves and says a few words. President Obama's inauguration parade was much more so pageantry than Pope Benedict's departure.

7. He's going to where all the rest of the aging NAZIs are hiding?
(Do I have to dig up the photo of him as a Hitler Youth? No, I don't.)
