I am guessing she probably did not write those tweets herself, but she does show a level of maturity well beyond her years and she was AMAZING in Beasts of the Southern Wild. She should have won Best Actress and the movie should have won Best Picture, and I say this despite the fact that I loved Argo and Silver Linings Playbook as well.

12. For a 4th grader, she has shown tons of poise. My daughter is a year younger

then her. Handling all the attention and some of the not so nice jokes made about her would be hard for an adult, let alone a 9 year old.

There was a lot of buzz about it in Nola and she turned out to just be something special. I hope the family keeps her as real and childlike as they can while she is in the center of all this attention.

she was dressed in what any little girl her age would wear (though designer made). they didn't try to make her look older than she was just because it was a very special occasion which people sometimes do.
